Answers to common questions and resources to help you manage your hosting account.
New to web hosting? Here is what you need to know to get up and running.
Browse our hosting plans and select the package that matches your needs. If you are unsure, our Starter or Silver plans are a great choice for most websites.
Once your account is activated, you will receive your cPanel login details by email. Log in to cPanel to start managing your website, email and databases.
Use FTP or the built-in File Manager in cPanel to upload your website files. Point your domain name to our servers and your site will be live.
Quick answers to the most common hosting questions.
You can access cPanel by going to yourdomain.com/cpanel in your web browser. Enter the username and password provided in your welcome email. If you have forgotten your password, contact us at [email protected] and we will reset it for you.
Log in to cPanel and click on "Email Accounts" under the Mail section. Enter the desired email address (for example, [email protected]), set a password and choose a mailbox quota. The account will be created immediately and you can start sending and receiving email.
To connect via FTP, use the following settings: Host is your domain name (for example, yourdomain.com), Username and Password are the same as your cPanel login, and the Port is 21. Upload your files to the public_html directory for them to appear on your website.
In cPanel, go to "MySQL Databases" under the Databases section. Enter a name for your database and click Create Database. Then create a database user and add the user to the database with the appropriate permissions. You can manage your database through phpMyAdmin.
Yes. You can install WordPress manually by downloading it from wordpress.org, uploading the files via FTP and creating a MySQL database through cPanel. Many of our customers run WordPress successfully on our hosting plans.
We support PHP on all hosting plans. The specific version available depends on the server configuration. If you need a particular PHP version for your application, please contact our support team and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.
You will need to update your domain's nameservers with your domain registrar. We will provide you with the correct nameserver addresses when your account is set up. Changes typically take between 24 and 48 hours to propagate across the internet.
We specialise in web hosting rather than domain registration. However, we can advise you on registering a .ie domain through an accredited .ie registrar. Once you have your domain, we will help you point it to your hosting account.
Absolutely. If you find that you need more disk space, bandwidth or email accounts, you can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. We will credit the unused portion of your current plan towards the upgrade cost. Contact us to arrange the switch.
First, check that your domain name is still pointed to the correct servers and that your hosting account is active. Clear your browser cache and try accessing the site from a different device or network. If the problem persists, email us at [email protected] with details of the issue and we will investigate promptly.
We perform regular server-level backups as part of our infrastructure management. However, we strongly recommend that you maintain your own backups as well. You can download a full backup of your account from cPanel at any time.
Yes. As an Irish company with servers in the EU, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We take data protection seriously and have appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to protect your personal data. Please see our privacy policy for full details.
